Luxor Trip from Hurghada Program

Explore the west bank of Luxor, where you’ll uncover its remarkable heritage. Begin your journey at the Valley of the Kings, the resting place of pharaohs from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. Please be advised that access to the Tomb of Tutankhamen requires an additional ticket, available for purchase on-site at your discretion..

During your tour, you’ll explore the iconic Colossi of Memnon, attributed to Pharaoh Amenhotep III of the 18th dynasty. Standing at an impressive height of 19.5 meters, each colossus is intricately carved from a single block of quartzite stone. Afterwards, delve into the magnificent El Deir El Bahari Temple, an architectural marvel commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut, boasting a distinctive design adorned with exquisite decorations.

Afterwards, you’ll journey to the east of Luxor to explore the majestic Karnak Temple, a vast complex of ancient structures and sanctuaries dedicated to the Theban Triad: Amon, Mut, and Khonsu. Constructed by various rulers including Senusret I, Amenhotep III, Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, Tuthmosis III, and others, Karnak Temple stands as a testament to the grandeur of ancient Thebes.

In addition, the temple of Karnak includes several pylons ”tall tower-like doorways”, courtyards, obelisks, sanctuaries, and the the sacred lake. Lunch at a local restaurant (Beverages are extra). Return to Hurghada: You’ll start your journey back to Hurghada, arriving at your hotel in the evening
